Some botanical study prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. It is mostly bare paper, one speckled egg, and a line of old handwriting so it changes a wall by slowing it down rather than filling it. Put it where people stand still and look properly: a downstairs loo, a stair return, the narrow bit of wall beside a doorway, or a small study above a desk. Old pine or dark stained wood suits it, as do linen, plain white ceramics and small brass fittings. Do not hang it on a busy patterned wall or next to anything loud and colourful the dotted shading is fine enough that pattern simply eats it. As a canvas it reads softer, so go one size up.
