What it adds isn’t clutter. It’s loose brushwork tension in the right places. The wall stops being background and starts doing something. Bright blue fills most of the square, so the wall reads as colour first, then the black and soft pink strokes pull your eye across it. Hang it on a plain painted wall in a living room or study, at eye level over a low sideboard or behind a desk, where nothing else competes.
