Nothing in this mustard, peach and soft green whispers, even when the nursery does. It brings warmth to a room that has gone a bit too safe. Put it up and the flat painted walls suddenly have somewhere to look the mustard field lifts the light, and the pale blue horse gives small children something to point at and name. Hang it above a chest of drawers, a low bookshelf or a changing unit, at a height where a child sitting on the floor can still see it properly. Pair it with pale wood, cane baskets, cream wool and one mustard cushion. Don’t crowd it with busy patterned bedding or a wall of alphabet charts it wants a bit of quiet wall around it.
