This crackling effect is achieved using a two part process. To increase the adhesion of the paste and promote cracking, it is strongly advised to prepare the surface with phase 1 (included). The crackle effect modeling paste (phase 2) has a very paste like consistency and should be applied with a palette knife.*The depths of the cracks vary with the thickness of the application of the paste. More cracks with a thin application and fewer cracks with a thick application. It may be used alone or mixed with acrylic colors (75% paste/25% color)
