First glance: cream and near-black. Second glance: the woodblock seascape doing something smarter. Every crest, every scrap of foam, every tumbling drop of spray is a black cat with round gold eyes. It gives a room a talking point that earns its place rather than shouting. Hang it wide above a sofa, a sideboard or across a study wall where people pass close enough to notice the faces.
