Hung up, the wall stops being background. The green pushes forward, the yellow bursts catch the eye, and the red letters give the room a beat to land on. Best on a wall that can take colour a plain white or off-white finish, a painted accent in deep green, or a chalky black. Pairs well with chrome, painted plywood, primary-coloured plastics and clean modern furniture. Don’t drown it with other loud posters or busy florals give it room to shout.
