What’s the kitchen missing? Mustard yellow with some nerve. This is a warm, holiday-in-Italy view, and it lifts a room the moment it goes up: yellow fruit, deep green leaves and blue and white tiles doing the work that a bowl of fruit on the counter never quite manages. Hang it on the wall beside a kitchen table, above a sideboard in a dining room, or at the end of a hallway where you want somewhere to look. It sits happily with terracotta, pale wood, rush seating and warm white walls.
