Try it above the sideboard; the vertical stack of rooftops will do the editing. The eye climbs from blue tile to terracotta roof to soft sky, and the room feels a little taller for it.

A cream or sand wall gives it the most lift. Skirtings and trims can stay off-white let the print bring the colour. The blues in the tiled facade pick up nicely against pale oak, rattan and linen; the terracotta roofs warm up cream upholstery and woven textures.
