Here’s the trick: let the sunlit table scene cut through all that terracotta. Kitchens and dining rooms full of warm tile, wood and stone can end up reading as one flat block of brown. This brings gold, olive green and a deep red wine glass into the mix, plus a cool hillside blue at the top that lifts the whole wall. Hang it between kitchen units, above a sideboard, or on the wall you face while eating. Pair it with rush seating, stoneware, terracotta pots and cream or putty paint. Don’t crowd it with printed tea towels, busy splashback tile and fridge clutter in the same eyeline. Give it clear wall.
