Here’s the trick: let the coastal view cut through all that plaster. Open shutters, palm leaves and a far-off Italian bay do the heavy lifting here, in blue, deep green and warm red.

Hang it and the room gains a window it didn’t have. Even a small wall starts to feel like it has air and sun moving through it.

Works best in a living room, kitchen or sunny hallway, above a sideboard, console or low bench. Give it a clean stretch of wall busy wallpaper will fight it.
