Specially developed for the technique of soft pastel, the Sennelier’s pastel card paper consists of a microfibrous layer of cork with neutral pH, applied to a pure wooden cardboard. The microfibres create an abrasive surface, catching the soft pastels. It is a very coarse paper, ideal for blurred or summary work and not recommended for very fine details.
