First glance: gold. Second glance: the peacock garden doing something smarter. The gold isn’t flat it shifts from warm honey in the middle to almost brown at the edges, so the picture keeps changing as the light in the room moves. Put it up and the whole wall warms by a few degrees; lamps and candles pick up the metallic tone and the deep blues go richer after dark.
