Here’s the trick: let the woman in the red coat cut through all that plaster. Most hallways and entryways are one flat colour and a lot of nothing. Put this up and the wall gets a story: soft pink walls, a navy starlit door, dark green palms and one loud red coat pulling your eye straight up the steps. Hang it at eye level in an entryway or hallway, or above a low bench where people pause to take their shoes off. On fine-art paper the flat painted colour stays clean and matte.
